Each round follows the same three-beat rhythm, with roughly five seconds of betting time between take-offs.
Step 1. Place your bet, or two. Enter the stake before the rocket launches. Rocketman supports two simultaneous bets in a single round, which is the foundation of the hedge strategy described further down. Autoplay repeats the previous bet amount automatically for each new round.
Step 2. Set Autocashout (optional, but recommended). Type a target multiplier, say 1.35x, 1.50x or 2.00x, into the Autocashout field. The game then closes the bet the instant that multiplier is touched, which takes your reaction time out of the equation. Elbet puts it plainly: "when entered, game will automatically cash out if the set multiplier is reached."
Step 3. Cash out before the explosion. The multiplier starts at 1.00x and rises. Your win equals stake × multiplier at the moment of cash out. If the rocket explodes first, the stake is gone. If the 20,000x ceiling is ever reached, all open bets are automatically cashed out at the cap.
The multiplier that ends the round, the crash point, is fixed before the round begins, derived from a hash generated in advance. Nothing you do during the flight changes it. The only variable under your control is when you leave.
On the frequency of the 20,000x cap: you will see claims that the maximum multiplier "hits roughly once in 20,000 rounds." Under a standard crash distribution with a ~96.5% return, the theoretical probability of surviving to a multiplier m is about 0.965 ÷ m, which puts 20,000x somewhere near one round in 20,700. Treat that as a heuristic estimate only. Elbet has not published the underlying distribution, and the figure is not part of any official mathematical model. What Elbet's leaderboard does confirm is that 20,000x has been paid historically: the Top Odds panel lists the highest multipliers won, the player ID and the amount, filterable by week, month or year.
